The Ultimate Canadian Christmas

In 2008, we created the Dundarave Festival to be a place where you can live joy out loud. Set in the wild winter air of Dundarave Beach, this is a festival fit for the glowing heart of Canada. As vast, generous, joyful and kind as this glorious country. When you experience the Dundarave Festival's ultimate Canadian Christmas, your spirit will be stirred up by artists from every corner of the world who have brought their genius for celebrating life and living it out loud right here, in the True North strong, beautiful and free.

Kick up your heels, snuggle up with someone you love, sing with total strangers and make memories to last a life time.

Love and joy come to you.

Neil Smith, before going on to front Peach Pit, made the Dundarave Festival home for truly outstanding performers.
Live joy out loud, together

Ezra Kwizera brings an incandescent hope and joy to the Festival Longhouse. His music is a miraculous transformation of the suffering he experienced in Rwanda into a life-giving testimony to the enduring beauty of being human.

Celso Machado is a virtuouso in every sense, making Brazilian folkloric music luminous. His great heart and glorious talent never fail to bring light, life and joy to the Dundarave Festival.

The ultimate Canadian Christmas needs Bollywood at sunset and square dancing by bonfire light.

With loving gratitude we honour Squamish Elder Wendy Charbonneau, the Dundarave Festival's beloved knowledge keeper. Her wise and generous guidance in the protocols of her ancestors and her nation deeply enriches our festival, keeping it a place of joyful hospitality and welcome.

Burstin' with Broadway keeps the ultimate Canadian Christmas bright with show tunes.

Legendary singer songwriters including Sarah Jane Scouten keep the Dundarave Festival the destination for music lovers.

David Newberry and Corbin Murdoch, fast friends of the festival.

With Loving Gratitude

The world wants more of Canada, and more of our music. From Joni and Cohen, to The Hip and, well, Peach Pit, Canada is the third-largest exporter of music on the planet.
A big reason for this is because festivals like ours allow performing artists
to get up close and personal with their audiences.
The magic happens when they fall in love with each other.
The Dundarave Festival's sponsors make this possible by keeping the ultimate Canadian Christmas fabulously festive and absolutely free. They help make us the North Shore's principal celebration of arts and culture through the holidays,
the destination for music lovers.
Join us in thanking them the whole year through.
